5 Thanksgiving Tablescapes

If you are hosting Thanksgiving Dinner this year, you are probably caught up in the frenzy of the holiday preparations.  The house is clean, the food is prepped, but have you made time to consider and design your tablescape?

Below are 5 unique table settings to help you put the finishing touches on this festive occasion.

Timeless Tradition – Jennifer Lee Events via Pizzazzerie

There is something truly special about a traditional table.  It evokes memories of family gatherings, smells of past feasts, and a sense of home. Tables are adorned with autumn colors, formal place settings, and food as far as they eye can see.

Autumn Modern – In The Making Design via Hostess With The Mostess

I love modern décor.  The use of clean lines, bold graphics and fun color schemes put a smile on my face.  You may think it might be difficult to infuse the warmth of Thanksgiving in a modern design however this table proves that it is possible.

Rustic Elegance – Design Sponge

For a more casual setting, this eclectic and rustic yet truly elegant table is the perfect choice.  The flowers and use of beautiful dinnerware give it a truly elegant feel. I especially love how they incorporated different chairs which give the room a sense of community. After all, isn’t that what Thanksgiving Dinner is all about.

Romantic OutdoorsPaper Posy Designs via The Sweetest Occassion

Thanksgiving isn’t exactly a romantic holiday but who says your decor can’t be?  This table setting is oozing with romance though the use of colors, fabric patterns, and gorgeous flowers. It is obviously rustic through the use of natural elements: hay, wooden chargers, burlap and twine. Bring them together and you’ve got a truly beautiful thing.

“Gobble till you Wobble” Kid’s Table – Anders Ruff

Too often we get so caught up in the dinner details that we forget about the little ones.  We usually send them straight to the “Kid’s Table” while the adults have all the fun. Anders Ruff did an excellent job of creating a kid’s themed thanksgiving celebration.  If you have a number of kids coming to your dinner, it may be worth the extra effort to prepare a truly memorable occasion for them as well.

Now that you’ve had a chance to look at a wide range of festive tablescapes, what will yours look like this year?
