Affordable Valentine’s Day Tablescape

Be Mine, Valentine…

To compliment our beautiful “Sealed With a Kiss” dessert table, I wanted to challenge myself to create a valentine’s tablescape on a small budget. My goal: minimal effort (and expenses) and maximum impact!

Here’s what we came up with:

Centerpiece: “Be Mine” glitter sign from Target – $2.50

My version of edible arrangements: Cake pops wrapped in a floral petal kit from target – $3/pack of 12. A more affordable option would be purchasing donut holes and attaching them to popsicle sticks for the same effect. This can probably be done for less than $5 depending on how many edible flowers you need.

Table Activity: Cootie Catchers – FREE! Print from your own home computer. My template comes from The Pretty Blog and is available in three colors: Pink, Red and Black.

S’more Favors: Contents include – Heart marshmallows (1.99/bag), Graham Crackers (1.99/box), Chocolate bars ($1/each), Ribbons ($1) and Clear box (FREE, extra from a previous event). If you’re interested in purchasing a box similar to the one we used, you can check PaperMart for affordable options. Total Cost of Favors (6): $10

Red Crush Drinks (optional): $5.99/case. We happened to have some at home, however this can be omitted to cut costs.
