This young couple hold a very special place in my heart. They remind me that genuine love does not come as we reach a certain age of maturity, but is simply a matter of the heart, and above all, a commitment to stay true to each other throughout the hardships of life. Chris and Abigail have endured much as a couple, but have proven resilient and even more committed to each other. For that, I am inspired by their love story. When I offered my time to help style their very intimate wedding, I knew that it had to reflect a youthful love. The only must-have was the color red. I came across a beautiful heart fondant cake from Dylan Lauren’s Bridal Shower on Martha Stewart Weddings and knew that this would be my source of inspiration for the entire wedding. To describe the style of this wedding, I would sum it up as youthful, simplistic, and a touch of modern.
