With the start of baseball season underway, I thought it would be nice to share a simple Baseball dessert table created by Abby of Piece of Cake. I love showcasing dessert tables that can easily be replicated. It proves that you can create a high impact table without breaking the bank. This table contains items that can be easily purchased at your local grocery store. The key to any table is the layout. When I begin visualizing any dessert table, I think of several things: food, spacing, height, and a focal point. Once these elements are decided on, the rest is just a matter of decor details. On this particular table, store bought items include: chewing gum candy, baseball chocolate, donut holes, crush bottles, and baseball pops. The chocolate cupcakes could be easily made from a box or from scratch. The cake was designed by Abby and was the centerpiece of the table. Height was applied by utilizing square buckets with a baseball design from the Dollar Tree. Paper bags instantly became cute favor bags simply by adding a baseball favor tag attached with a clothespin. The decor detail I love the most about this table is the table cover. We have re-used this faux grass cover for a number of parties already. The backdrop was a blue striped fabric purchased at a local fabric store in the clearance section.

Hopefully this table has inspired you to wow your guests with your own table design at your next baseball game gathering.
