{Black & White} Damask Wedding

Back in August, I had the honor of witnessing a friend’s stunning Damask Wedding.  You may remember her Vintage Housewife themed Bridal Shower. Like every event I attend, I get excited to see all the carefully selected details and decor elements. I knew I would not be disappointed since the Bride has excellent sense of style. She chose a simple color scheme of black and white and paired it with a bold damask pattern. Here’s a few of my favorite wedding details:

White by Vera Wang Wedding Dress – The first time I saw the dress I had major dress envy! The fit was perfect on her tall slender frame and the skirt is absolutely to die for. The Bride wore 4 inch heels so that no alterations would be done to the skirt. I think I’d do the same to preserve every detail of that dress.

Ceremony Gazebo Decor – The gazebo was draped in yards of flowing tulle and secured with a band of flowers. Inside of the gazebo hung 3 gorgeous chandeliers. It looked so romantic as the bride and groom exchanged their wedding vows. Perfection.

Reception Damask Overlays – I love the use of bold patterns on table linen. It brings a modern touch to any affair. The Bride’s use of a bold damask patterned overlay was the perfect accent to her black and white affair.

Wedding Cake & Cake Toppers – The cake design was selected to imitate the bride’s stunning wedding dress. The cake toppers are a nod to the couple’s favorite Disney characters and custom painted to fit their color scheme.
